JSJC Media Conclave 7.0 – Jindal School of Journalism & Communication, India (September 26–28, 2025)
As part of the Media Conclave, the project will be showcased in an academic and cultural environment that fosters dialogue between journalism, photography, and human rights.
This marks the project’s first step into Asia, connecting voices from Gaza and Naples to new audiences in India.
The Media Conclave at Jindal School of Journalism & Communication is one of the most dynamic platforms in South Asia dedicated to media, journalism, and storytelling.
Each year it brings together journalists, photographers, filmmakers, scholars, and students to reflect on the Past, Present, and Future of communication.
In this edition, Between Gaza and Naples. A Childhood Story is featured as part of the exhibition program, giving visibility to a project that bridges two cities and two childhoods.
Presenting the work in India marks a significant milestone:
It places Mahmoud’s images of Gaza alongside global conversations about media and ethics.
It brings the voices of children like Soso into an academic and educational setting, sparking reflection among future journalists and communicators.
It expands the project’s reach into Asia, reinforcing its universal message about the right of every child to live, play, and dream in safety.
This exhibition is not only a cultural exchange but also an urgent call to action, reminding audiences worldwide of the importance of protecting childhood amidst war.
